 Armand Vaknine 1970 PAGE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION Armand died during the night to March 4th 2010 from cancer. He had been ill for a while then. He was born in Marocco, migrated to Israel in his teens, was a parachuter in the army, worked as a waitor in restaurants and night clubs in Tel Aviv, before he met his 2nd wife Loraine and moved to Manchester, England. There he had a firm that did paint-jobs and put up wall-paper. He has a daughter, Dorrit, born in Manchester, England, and two grown-up sons in Israel from his first marriage to Lili. I first met Armand in Tel Aviv in 1968. More to follow, including more pictures. |
