Books

I read. A lot. All kinds of things. I usually have 2 books beside the bed for reading before sleep, 2–3 onging books on the table in my living room, one in my bag which I read on the subway to and from work or whenever I get held up somewhere waiting. When I go on vacation my suitcase normally contains about 4 books for a 2 week stay (which I almost always manage to finish).

Books are important to me. Both for learning things and for pleasure. As a child my grandmother and my father read to me before I knew how to myself. We didn´t have many books at home – they were too expensive – so the neigbourhood library was my constant waterhole for new books when I grew up. And one book a year each for my birthday and for Christmas from my grandmother. By the age of 12 I had read everything they had in the childrens department at the library and was allowed to move into the grown-ups department though you actually had to be around 14 or 15 to be allowed in there. Nowadays I buy my books. Last time I moved the movers complained that I had too many books and bookcases...

THIS DEPARTMENT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED. It is much too timeconsuming to keep it up-to-date. To look for books in English I recommed http://www.amazon.com, for books in English and Swedish I recommend a visit to http://www.bokus.com.
