Today at 09:55 my kitchen wall-clock just died. I was rearranging the decorations on the kitchen wall after having removed the Billy cupboard the other day. When I put the clock back up on the wall I noticed it was dead. Tried various batteries to no avail. Came to the conclusion that it was the clockwork that had died.
Some say you can fix it by getting a new clockwork. I have disassembled it and I really doubt I will be able to get it to work again even if I did get a new clockwork.
I’ve always loved this clock. It is 31 cms in diameter and has very clear numbers. You see the time in just a glance also on a distance. It has served me well for several years.
Now I need to find a new wall-clock. It is harder than you might think. Most clocks have such ugly typography… And I want it simple like this one, but good quality and not too expensive. And not in plastic… This one is metal and glass.
