A trend you see more and more of in various interior design solutions and articles is the bed placed in front of a window.
That is a trend I don’t understand… unless there isn’t space enough to place it in another direction of course. But usually there is… The bed above is also placed with the head towards the radiator. Not sure I would like to have the radiator that close to my head…

The bed above might not be possible to place with head towards the wall, depending on how long it is, but this placement is really awkward as I see it. Not only is it in front of a window, but it also has a headboard blocking one of the windows, and hardly any space for bedside tables.

Here is the same problem. You block one of the windows which becomes impossible to open or to place plants or decorations in. Personally I wouldn’t want to have the bed placed like this and the window behind my head when asleep – headboard or not on the bed.

The above could work despite the placement of the bed and the headboard in front of a window. The two windows to the left and right could make it OK – if you closed the drapes behind the headboard on the middle window.
