Eames House Bird. Picture from Rum24
There is this decorative bird by the Eames brothers, made in wood with metal legs. I love it. It is really nice. If somebody would give it to me I would be happy. I would not buy it myself though as it costs SEK 1590… Designer items… sigh…
Yesterday the daily visit from the common woods dove made me think of that one. The dove wandered on top of the fence, looking very decorative…

This is how it sounds:
There are two doves who regularly come to visit the lawn outside my outside place. Sometimes just one, sometimes both at the same time. They are nice birds these woods doves, not like the common doves you see in cities. They like to sit in trees and call their special sound. This is how it looks when not photographed against the sun. It is blue-grey with a pink-red breast. Typical of it is the white “collar”. If you want to know more about it wikipedia is your friend.
