Rethymnon restaurant

Rethymnon has plenty of restaurants. There is absolutely no lack of choice for different kinds of foods, service, or price ranges.

The competition to get the tourists to eat at the restaurants is fierce. That results in a fairly level price range no matter where you eat.

A nice thing about Rethymnon is that though they have had tourists for a long time, and the restaurants are many, you can still find traditional greek food at most places – at the same time as you can get more international dishes.

The food almost anywhere is good, well-made and tasty.

Something fairly common in Rethymnon are the menues for 2 for a package-price. A meny usually consists of an appetizer, a salad, a main course, a local drink (Raki or Ouzo) and wine of the house (red or white). And of course the tasty greek bread – sometimes served with garlic butter, sometimes as is. I (unfortuntely) love the greek cuisine. It is very easy to put on weigth when in Greece...
