Meteora

When we came up in the mountains and finally saw Meteora for real, we were all overwhelmed by its beauty and their very rare forms. These rocks are made up of sand and gravel that got left when the sea disappeared from the area – a very long time ago – and left the large plain between the mountains of Eastern Pindus – and these rockformations that became Meteora.

We all got photocrazy when we were let out of the bus for a photostop. No matter which way you looked there was a beautiful view.
