No matter which tour you go on in Turkey, it stops at a carpet factory or a carpet cooperative. The one visited here is one of the biggest and most well-visited by tourists I think. (I visited the very same carpet factory in 2003 on one of the tours I took).
It is situated out in the woods quite far from any town but along a well-trafficed road.
