The monastery of Evangelistria at Skiathos. These steps probably had some meaning or such that I missed.... I was a bit distressed at the time as I lost my digital camera on the path up to this monastery during our walking trip. A very nice Norwegian man lept back and found it on the path just after a very steep climb where I was almost dragged up by someone more agile than I.... It fell out of my bag, which I stupidly enough hadn´t closed.. Fortunately camera was found quickly and nothing bad had happened to it. (A Fuji FinePix 6800Zoom). I waited outside the monastery when the norwegian man looked for the camera, so I missed the story of this monastery. I got a LOT more attentive to where the camera was and how it was stored after this... After all, this was just my third day (arrivalday included) on Skiathos.
