One of the few things I liked in Bugibba were the doors to the houses. Houses usually looked like this, very thin, with the door to the street, every door different and personal in all kinds of colors.
They say that on the island of Gozo, which is a bit further from "normal" cilivlization, people don't lock their doors even if they leave home. The crimerate is so low they don't have too they say. (I wouldn't trust the tourists though). I think they lock their doors in Bugibba though as many more people pass there than on Gozo.
